The American Baptist Churches of Oregon represents 55 congregations and over ten thousand members who affiliate with the American Baptist Churches-USA. We represent the full diversity of people living in Oregon. We live in cities, suburbs, small towns and rural areas. Our churches are ethnically diverse — Anglo, African American, Inter-racial, Hispanic, and Asian — and are all committed to the unique witness of the Gospel we share as American Baptists.

Dr. Wm. Wayne Brown, Executive Minister, has created a vision for ABC Oregon and is supporting Oregon Baptist leaders in growing this vision into a new style of life and work. He centers his vision around “Vibrant Life.”

To ensure ABC Oregon is alive and vibrant, it must grow spiritually, professionally and physically — for growth is evidence of life.
